🔧 Ti300U – best for general maintenance

The FLUKE Ti300U Thermal Camera is a strong all-round choice for everyday fault finding and preventative maintenance.

Its 384 × 288 IR resolution and -20 °C to 650 °C measurement range make it suitable for many common inspection tasks, including:

  • Electrical panels
  • Motors and bearings
  • HVAC equipment
  • Heating systems and pipework
  • Building inspections
  • General preventative maintenance

It also has a minimum imaging distance of just 0.1 m, making it useful when working relatively close to equipment.

Choose the Ti300U if:

You need a dependable thermal camera for routine inspections without requiring higher-resolution imaging.

Ti401U – best for detailed electrical inspections

The FLUKE Ti401U Thermal Camera is the step up when image detail becomes more important.

Its 640 × 480 IR resolution provides significantly more thermal detail than the Ti300U, while up to 10× digital zoom helps when inspecting smaller or more distant targets.

This makes it particularly suitable for:

  • Electrical switchgear
  • Distribution boards
  • Industrial electrical systems
  • Motors and mechanical assemblies
  • Larger industrial installations

For electrical maintenance teams, the higher resolution can make it easier to distinguish individual components and pinpoint where abnormal heating is occurring.

Choose the Ti401U if:

Your work involves small, detailed or more distant targets, but you do not need to measure above 650 °C.

🔥 Ti480U – best for demanding and high-temperature work

The FLUKE Ti480U Thermal Camera is the most advanced model of the three.

It combines 640 × 480 IR resolution with 1280 × 960 SuperResolution, while improved 50 mK thermal sensitivity helps reveal finer temperature differences.

The biggest difference is its -20 °C to 1200 °C temperature range, making it suitable for applications that go beyond the 650 °C limit of the Ti300U and Ti401U.

Typical applications include:

  • High-temperature industrial equipment
  • Manufacturing and process environments
  • Advanced condition monitoring
  • Large mechanical systems
  • Detailed inspection and reporting
  • Thermal video analysis

Choose the Ti480U if:

You need to measure above 650 °C, detect finer temperature differences or want the added detail of SuperResolution.
