Martindale VT7 Single Pole Contact AC Voltage Indicator
A single pole contact voltage indicator which detects AC voltages of 50V-600V with audible and bright LED indication.
The VT7 is designed for testing in situations where other indicators may not work so reliably, for example where the user has to wear PPE which may inhibit the natural leakage of some current to earth that other devices rely on.
The VT7 is rated to CAT IV for 300 volts, and CAT III 600 volts.
Although the self-test checks the functionality and battery, a proving check on a known live source should be performed prior to use.
Ergonomically designed and has an IP54 rating, for indoor and outdoor use. The tester is of durable construction making it suitable for both industrial and domestic applications.
Uniquely, the VT7 can be used when wearing protective gloves and gauntlets ensuring safe working practices can be adhered to at all times.
The probe is GS38 compliant and is ideal for detecting live panel casings.
The external tip enables easy access in confined spaces.
