Megger BVM Battery Voltage Monitor for cell/block voltage measurement system
The Megger BVM Battery Voltage Monitors are used to test capacity on large industrial battery banks often found in electrical power substations, telecommunication facilities and computer data center UPS systems.
The BVM is a modular device where one BVM unit is used for each cell, "jar" or block in the battery string and can be connected to the next forming a daisy chain. Up to 2 x 120 BVMs can be daisy chained in a single battery bank under test.
The BVM ‘Auto Discovery‘ feature enables the host device to automatically determine the number of batteries under test and provide sequential identification of each BVM in the test string.
When used in conjunction with a TORKEL Battery Load Tester, PowerDB and TORKEL Win, the BVM enables the TORKEL to perform completely automated battery bank capacity tests according to IEC test methods (meets NERC/FERC requirements too).
Megger BVM Accommodates Any Battery Connection Requirement
Setup is fast and easy using the BVM. The included dolphin clip can easily be removed and exchanged with different styles of standard banana plug clamps and/or extension cables to accommodate any battery connection requirement. Each BVM is identical and can be connected in any battery test position, thus providing maximum flexibility and interchangeability of the BVMs.
Megger BVM Key Features:
- Enables automatic battery cell voltage measurements during capacity tests
- ‘Daisy-chain‘ design allows expandability up to 2 x 120 cells
- High accuracy and stability for precise data collection
- Wide voltage range
