Please note: the Megger CSU20A is an optional accessory designed for use with Megger SVERKER750 and SVERKER780 relay testing units.
How It Works
The Megger CSU20A Current/Voltage Source can be used alongside a SVERKER750 or SVERKER780 to provide two separate current sources. This enables the SVERKER‘s timer and measurement section to measure two outputs while also determining the trip time of a relay.
In addition to relay testing applications, the CSU20A can operate as a versatile AC/DC voltage source. It provides one AC current and voltage output, one fully rectified DC output and one half-wave rectified DC output, making it suitable for applications including harmonic restraint testing.
The CSU20A also incorporates a current measurement shunt, selectable current and voltage ranges, and AC mains input and output connections. When powered from the SVERKER‘s mains output, the CSU20A and SVERKER operate with in-phase synchronisation.
