Accurate Winding Resistance Testing
The megger transformer winding resistance function delivers up to 100 A DC at 50 V compliance, enabling precise measurement on both high- and low-voltage transformer windings. Dual-channel inputs allow simultaneous measurement, while automatic discharge and demagnetisation protect both operator and test object. With the TSX 303 switchbox, all taps and windings can be tested from one lead connection, saving time and enhancing safety features.
Tap-Changer and Dynamic Resistance Testing
The megger winding resistance tester includes built-in control for on-load tap-changers. It measures resistance per tap, verifies make-before-break continuity and performs dynamic resistance measurement (DRM) to assess diverter-switch performance, detecting wear or mechanical issues before failure.
