The Socket & See PLUG LOCK Plug Lock Off Device has been designed to provide an easy and affordable way to lock off any 3 pin 13 Amp 240V BS 1363 UK plug. Compact and simple to use, the Socket & See Plug Lock supports safe isolation by helping to prevent connected equipment from being operated while electrical work is being carried out.
The Socket & See PLUG LOCK features a 3 digit combination that can be set by the user when first being used, making each Plug Lock Off Device unique. There are also no keys to lose, and the combination code can be reset if required.
How to Use the Socket & See PLUG LOCK
To lock off a plug, simply place the Socket & See PLUG LOCK over the three pins and carefully turn the screw until it is securely making contact with the earth pin. Gently pull the plug to make sure the Plug Lock Off Device is securely attached. Close the locking pin and scramble the lock.
Two ‘DO NOT OPERATE’ tags are included with the Socket & See Plug Lock and can be hung from the shackle. Each notice includes space for the date, engineer‘s name, contact telephone number and signature.
