Designed for "proving dead" on high voltage distribution system between 1 kV and 69 kV (voltage ranges calibrated according to IEC recommendations). The MTag detects any nominal voltage present on a overhead line or in a substation.

Enhanced audible indication

  • Powerful audible indication that can be heard clearly and precisely
  • 100 dB audible signal (at 1 meter)
  • Audible above traffic noise or strong winds, thanks to natural amplification by an acoustic horn

 

Operating reliability

  • Low battery level indicated by a dedicated ORANGE LED
  • Latest generation of electronics controlled by a processor and enclosed in a dedicated sealed compartment to avoid moisture ingress
  • The battery can be replaced in any condition
  • Compliant with IEC 61243-1
  • Detection thresholds calibrated on real voltages (HV)

 

Direct access to the battery, watertight sealed electronics compartment

  • Built to prevent inadvertent mis-assembly of housing and electronics
  • Battery easily changed in the field, even in difficult conditions (bad weather, difficult worksite, etc.)
  • Easy opening of compartment with a cover preventing the battery falling out
  • Does not require access to the electronics

 

Enhanced visual indication

  • Visual indication visible in sunlight and fog
  • Wide angle of view and side view thank to the optic ring
  • When the self-test is OK (device ready for use) and there is no nominal voltage in the range calibrated, device displays a GREEN
