The PAM420 displays the phase angle between two sinusoidal signals from 0–359.9°. Its 0.1° resolution lets you read the angle directly without calculating it from separate measurements.

Q1: Does 0.1° resolution mean 0.1° accuracy?
A. No. Resolution is the displayed increment. Phase angle accuracy is ±0.5° above 10% of the voltage/current range, ±1° at 2–10%, and ±2° at 1–2%.
Q2: Can the PAM420 measure DC voltage?
A. The main voltage measurement inputs are specified for AC. The timer can accept DC voltage triggering within its separate 11–250V DC range.
Q3: Can I measure current above 25A?
A. External current transformers can extend the current input range. The instrument accepts up to 25A AC through its current inputs.
Q4: Does it measure frequency from current signals?
A. No. Frequency measurement is available through the voltage inputs only.
Q5: Can I replace the internal battery myself?
A. The rechargeable Li-ion battery is replaceable by an accredited service centre only.
