This advanced cable tester supports VLF, DC and sheath testing, as well as sheath fault pinpointing when used with the optional step voltage probe. The continuous duty cycle allows uninterrupted testing, even during complex diagnostic procedures.

An optional internal Tan Delta function transforms the VLF Sinus 45 into a complete diagnostic platform. Results are automatically interpreted for PE, XLPE and PILC cables in line with IEEE 400.2, removing guesswork from VLF cable testing and enabling rapid, informed maintenance decisions.

Up to 1,000 measurements can be stored internally and reviewed directly on the unit’s large colour touchscreen. Data can also be exported via USB and analysed using the included reporting software, streamlining documentation and compliance.
