FLUKE ii1030 Acoustic Imager

See where energy is escaping. Give your team a clearer repair plan.

Make hidden leaks easier to locate with the FLUKE ii1030 Acoustic Imager. Using 202 digital MEMS microphones, it turns ultrasonic sound into a visual acoustic image, helping maintenance teams pinpoint compressed air, gas and vacuum leaks across industrial systems.

Go beyond locating the source. LeakQ™ Mode estimates leak rate and associated energy cost, helping you decide where repairs could make the greatest difference. Capture the evidence, add asset details and generate reports directly on the instrument to keep findings ready for action.

Request a FLUKE ii1030 Acoustic Imager quote today. Tell us about your inspection requirements and how many instruments you need.

FLUKE ii1030 Acoustic Imager Key Features:

  • Visual ultrasonic leak detection: SoundSight™ technology uses 202 microphones to show sound sources over a visible-light image
  • LeakQ™ cost estimates: assess estimated leak rate and energy cost to help prioritise repairs
  • Detection beyond 100 m: locate difficult-to-access leaks at a distance, depending on ambient conditions
  • Clear inspection view: 7-inch anti-glare touchscreen, 13 MP visible-light camera and 3× digital zoom
  • Reports on the instrument: combine inspection findings with asset information, photo notes and action priorities
  • Air-tightness testing: use Beacon Mode with the optional FLUKE SB140 SoundBeacon™ to identify sealing defects
  • Practical for site inspections: IP54 protection and a weight of 1.2 kg including the battery
  • Two batteries supplied: more than 7 hours of combined operation across the two rechargeable battery packs

Why choose the FLUKE ii1030 Acoustic Imager?

Turn a leak survey into a repair programme that is easier to justify. The ii1030 helps you scan production areas and investigate valves, fittings, regulators and connections, including in noisy industrial environments. LeakQ™ estimates give your team a practical basis for comparing the potential cost of different leaks.

Keep the findings connected to the equipment. Asset names, QR code identification, text notes and photo notes help document what was found and where. Record the required action and its priority, create a report on the instrument, then use follow-up inspections to check the results of repairs.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: Can the FLUKE ii1030 estimate how much a leak is costing?

A. Yes. LeakQ™ Mode estimates leak rate and associated energy cost to help prioritise corrective work. These are estimates for assessing leaks and planning repairs.

Q2: What do I need for air-tightness testing?

A. Use Beacon Mode with the optional FLUKE SB140 SoundBeacon™ ultrasonic transmitter. It provides a controlled sound source to help reveal sealing defects in enclosed components, assemblies and equipment.

Q3: Can the ii1030 capture thermal images?

A. Thermal imaging requires the optional FLUKE TC03A iSee™ Thermal Camera Attachment. Adding it allows thermal, acoustic and visible-light imaging to be used within the same inspection workflow.

Q4: Does the ii1030 include partial-discharge or mechanical inspection modes?

A. No. PDQ Mode™ partial-discharge analysis and MecQ™ mechanical inspection are features of the ii1050. The ii1030 supports leak detection, LeakQ™ quantification and Beacon Mode air-tightness testing.

Q5: Is the quoted battery life for one battery or both?

A. Each battery provides more than 3.5 hours of operation. The quoted runtime of more than 7 hours is the combined total across the two supplied battery packs.
