- Based on the same award-winning platform as the 1730 Energy Logger
The FLUKE 1736 Three Phase Power Logger is your essential tool for identifying and addressing issues within your electrical system. Designed to capture and log critical three phase power parameters with ease and precision, this advanced power logger helps you maintain system reliability, ensure compliance, and improve energy efficiency. Whether you‘re conducting an energy study or troubleshooting complex power quality issues, the FLUKE 1736 delivers trusted, high-performance results.

Capture Over 500 Power Quality Parameters – Including Harmonics up to the 50th Harmonic
Built on the award-winning platform of the FLUKE 1730, the FLUKE 1736 extends its capabilities to automatically log over 500 key power quality variables. These include rms voltage, current, active power, apparent power, energy consumption, frequency, and voltage and current event detection. The device also monitors dips, swells, and inrush events, helping you uncover intermittent or hidden faults that could jeopardise the stability of your electrical system.
Its ability to analyse harmonics up to the 50th harmonic allows for a deep evaluation of waveform distortions, which is crucial when diagnosing load imbalance, non-linear devices, and harmonic resonance.
Enhanced Usability with Smart Design Features
Flexible Current Measurement
The FLUKE 1736 includes four flexible current probes, enabling measurement of all three-phase currents and the neutral. Whether you‘re logging baseline energy usage or tracking down a fault, this configuration offers a complete picture of your electrical system.
Power Directly from the Measured Circuit
With built-in convenient instrument powering, the FLUKE 1736 can be powered directly from the circuit under test, eliminating the need for separate power sources or extension cables. The detachable power supply makes installation in tight switchboards fast and frustration-free.
Magnetic Voltage Probes
The newly designed magnetic voltage probes offer fast and secure connections, reducing setup time. Their strong magnetic grip ensures a stable connection, significantly minimising the risk of measurement disruption due to loose leads.
Touch-Screen Display
The full-colour touch-screen display provides an intuitive interface for setup, live data review, and on-site diagnostics. The graphical interface guides users step-by-step, helping ensure correct setup every time.
Avoid Common Connection Errors with Advanced Autocorrect
One of the standout features of the FLUKE 1736 is its ability to identify and correct common connection errors before logging begins. Thanks to its intelligent verification function, the instrument digitally verifies wiring configuration and corrects any misconnection, eliminating guesswork and preventing costly rework.
Real-Time Monitoring and Remote Access via FLUKE Connect
With FLUKE Connect compatibility, users can access real-time and logged data from the field, office, or even a remote workstation. View trends, monitor voltage and current events, and generate reports instantly via the FLUKE Connect mobile app or desktop software.
By integrating with other FLUKE Connect tools, such as the FLUKE A3000 FC Wireless AC Current Clamp Module, the FLUKE 1736 supports simultaneous logging of up to two additional parameters. This collaborative capability means you can monitor multiple variables from a single platform, reducing downtime and limiting the need for PPE and site re-entry.
Energy Analyse Plus Software – Comprehensive Analysis and Reporting
Included with the FLUKE 1736 is the powerful Energy Analyse Plus software. This application allows you to download, analyse, and visualise logged data in detail. It offers automatic reporting, waveform comparison, and summary assessments using the built-in power quality health summary – helping you get a clear snapshot of your system reliability and electrical performance at a glance.

How to handle your Power Quality Data:
Once power quality data has been gathered using the FLUKE 1736, it‘s vital to follow key steps to maximise insight. Begin by reviewing interim results. Whether monitoring spans a week or longer, a quick check-in allows you to assess any recorded anomalies and engage with on-site personnel about operational issues. If a breaker tripped or a fuse blew, compare the timing with data trends. The FLUKE 1736 excels at capturing such events through voltage dips, inrush currents, and harmonic distortions. These indicators help pinpoint equipment sensitivity and potential faults. Once the study concludes, safely disconnect and inspect all components, ensuring nothing is left behind. Finally, compile your findings into a clear, audience-appropriate report. The FLUKE 1736 Power Quality software streamlines this, offering in-depth trend analysis and customisable outputs. Visuals, like thermal images, enhance clarity and support informed decisions, helping resolve power quality issues efficiently and effectively.
