Kewtech KT500 Single Function Hand-Held RCD Tester
The Kewtech KT500 is a small, light and robust RCD tester, measuring only 180mm long, less than 85mm wide and weighing in at less than 420g with batteries!
The single rotary dial clearly shows the RCD selection. Type A and AC 30mA RCDs have an auto test and a recall button allowing you to scroll through the results.
For 30mA RCDs you also have the control to toggle through a selection of x ½, x 1, x 5 and ramp tests. For over 30mA RCD selection you have the choice of x ½, x 1 and ramp tests.
Commonly used Type A 30, 100 & 300mA, Type AC 30, 100, 300 & 500mA Type ACS 100 & 300mA RCDs can be tested.
Kewtech KT500 Additional Features:
When connected, the voltage (LN) is displayed and an automatic back-light operates when testing.
A magnetic hanger is provided enabling you to clip and hang the instrument off any metallic surface and the electronic hands-free feature puts the tester in constant measuring mode. The tests start when the probes are connected to the circuit under test. These features together mean that you have your hands free to use the probes. Additionally, there is a clip out leg to enable the tester to be freestanding.
A separate mains polarity test is provided to check that the mains connection at the distribution board has been correctly wired.
Kewtech small and feature-rich single function testers use the latest in technology, providing a truly viable alternative to a multifunction tester for 18th edition testing. Most of your testing will be catered for by your insulation/continuity tester, your RCD & Loop tester only coming out when power is connected.
