KANE 458s HVACR Flue Gas Analyser

The KANE 458s HVACR Flue Gas Analyser brings combustion analysis, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration testing together in one versatile instrument. Designed for engineers working across heating and cooling systems, it combines flue gas measurements with pressure, temperature and wireless HVACR testing capabilities.

The analyser measures O₂, CO₂, CO and H₂, with CO measurement up to 10,000 ppm with H₂ compensation. Optional NO and IAQ CO₂ measurement extend its capabilities further, while KANE LINK wireless probes allow A/C and refrigeration testing without the need for a traditional manifold and hoses.

With KANE LIVE connectivity, structured appliance tests, wireless probe support and KANE CARE Lifetime Warranty, the KANE 458s HVACR provides a flexible platform for combustion and HVACR testing.

Combustion & Appliance Testing

The KANE 458s HVACR supports structured testing across a range of heating appliances, including:

  • Type C sealed appliances
  • Type B open-flue boilers
  • Type A cookers
  • Space heaters
  • Water heaters

With the optional NO sensor, the analyser can also perform boiler emissions testing.

Adding the optional IAQ CO₂ sensor provides further testing capability for room CO migration and commercial kitchen air quality applications.

Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Testing

The KANE 458s HVACR extends beyond conventional flue gas analysis with dedicated A/C and refrigeration functions.

Compatible KANE LINK wireless probes allow HVACR testing without a conventional manifold and hoses, helping create a more flexible wireless testing setup.

The analyser supports 40 refrigerants, including:

  • R22
  • R32
  • R134a
  • R290
  • R410A

It also calculates superheat and subcool as part of its refrigeration and air conditioning testing capability.

Ventilation & Wireless Testing

Optional wireless accessories further extend the KANE 458s HVACR for ventilation and environmental testing.

With the KANE-DTHA2 option, the analyser can work with measurements including:

  • Air flow from 1.1–20 m/s
  • Temperature from -20°C to +50°C
  • Relative humidity from 0.1–99% RH

KANE LINK provides the wireless connection between compatible probes and the analyser.

Fuel Types:

The analyser supports 12 standard fuels, including:

  • Natural Gas
